Fun at Centreville

Centreville is an amusement park on the Toronto Islands. Bumper cars, rides, pizza, funnel cake, ice cream: it's all there! Fursuits weren't allowed in Centreville, but that came later.

Potluck

The BBQ shelter on Centre Island

We headed to the BBQ shelter and set up a potluck-style snack, with fursuiting, games of frisbee, and more.

Silent disco & beach campfire

Campfire on Hanlan's Point beach

At Hanlan's Point beach we set up a campfire, toasted marshmallows, and three DJs played "silent disco" style.

What's a silent disco? It's everything you'd expect at a dance: people dancing in costumes, DJs spinning the sickest beats, flashing lights to set the mood, except there are no speakers. The music was broadcast over FM radio, so everyone could listen at their preferred volume.

FAQ

Were there age requirements? All ages were welcome!

Was there food? Potluck style: everyone brought enough for themselves and someone else. Centreville also had food for sale.
